His urge to be of service to the cause of cancer is also very appreciating n fr this his efforts n contribution is also countless,he joins The Maximize Life Campaign n offer his support fr cancer patients n sign the pledge.His message fr the support of cancer patients.

SALMAN KHAN SUPPORTS CHILD LABOUR FREE INDIA COMPAIGN

Salman Khan signed the pledge letter to support "Child Labour Free India Compaign"

Salman Khan sends out a forceful appeal in support of the nationwide campaign against child labour being spearheaded by Bachpan Bachoo Andolan. 

They come foreward to join hands with child labour free campaign to demand for a complete ban on child labour under the age of 14 years.

Being an initiative which is much larger than a movement the campaign demands for the basic right of the children.In the light of recent cases of Child Labour Abuse it is imperative for the masses to participate in large numbers to safeguard the rights of the children. (April 2010)

SALMAN KHAN DONATES HIS BONE MARROW

After taking of pledge of donating bone marrow Salman Khan kept his promise by giving his bone marrow to ailing Pooja.The little girl is in need of a bone marrow transplant and seeing the need of hour.Salman came forward with the benevolent gesture.

Dr Sunil Parekh a member of MDRI said,I thank Salman Khan for the coming forward and taking up our cause,Four years ago Salman had read about Pooja a little girl who was in need of bone marrow transplant.He got his antire football team to come and donate marrow.Unfortunatley they all backed out last minute and only Salman and Arbaaz Khan landed up and became the first doners.(Nov 2010)
